Beach Volleyball Complex coming to the Youngsville Sports Complex
Thursday, May 16, 2019 – Mayor Ken Ritter announced the Ground Breaking of the new Beach Volleyball Complex will be held Tuesday, May 21 at 4:45pm at the Youngsville Sports Complex, 801 Savoy Rd. The complex will feature a total of 5 sand volleyball courts, one of which will be a championship court. A concessions building will also be part of the complex. Mayor Ritter stated, “This step solidifies our position as the premier sports complex in the region. It continues our tradition of offering excellent recreational opportunities while driving economic development.”
“Beach volleyball is the most rapidly growing sport in the country as well as the fastest growing NCAA Division 1 sport. All YSC sports programs have increased in popularity since our opening so we look forward to this project moving ahead,” stated Tim Robichaux, Youngsville Sports Complex Director.
With this addition, the Youngsville Sports Complex plans to host local, state, and national volleyball games, league play, and tournaments. This new state of the art, Beach Volleyball Complex with 5 competition courts, is projected to be completed in the fall of 2019.

How to Register Your Child for Youngsville Recreational Sports Programs:
When registering your child for a league in the Youngsville Recreational Sports Programs:
- You must first create an account using your information (Parent or Guardian).
- After completing your information, you will see an option at the bottom of the form to add a family member. This is where you will add your child’s name. You must put in your child’s date of birth because this will determine which leagues he/she will be allowed to be enrolled in as each league has age requirements.
- You can add as many family members as needed by following the previous step.
- If you already have an account and need to add an additional child to your account then you will need to login, click on my account, scroll down to edit account, and then you will see your information and you will be able to add a family member on the bottom of this form.
